San Jose Alumnae Chapter
(2022 - present)
As the current Nominating Committee Chair, I lead the chapter’s nomination and succession planning processes with a strategic focus on leadership readiness, mentorship, and enablement. Our committee designed and facilitated engaging Leadership Forums to deepen Sorors’ understanding of officer roles and responsibilities, while strengthening our leadership pipeline. We also established the inaugural "We See You Soror Award", amplifying the character as depicted in our Jewels, to intentionally recognize and elevate a Soror's contributions that reflect the values of our Sisterhood.

Eta Omega Chapter (1993 - 1994)
My Delta journey began on April 2, 1993, with my initiation into the Eta Omega Chapter on the campus of San José State University. From that moment, I was embraced by a sisterhood that modeled excellence, fostered deep connection, and called me to lead with purpose. As a collegiate Soror, I discovered not only my voice, but my responsibility to serve, to uplift, and to build. It was within this space that my passion for leadership was ignited, my commitment to mentorship was solidified, and my standard for organizational excellence was set. That foundation continues to guide me as I lead, serve, and pour into Sorors across every level of our Sisterhood.

Regional Experience
I serve as Co-Chair of the Farwest Region Conflict Resolution Committee (2024 - present), providing strategic co-leadership over chapter and/or Soror conflicts, assessment, and resolution processes across the region. I co-developed and implemented a structured framework that equips Sorors and chapters with practical tools to address concerns with fairness, confidentiality, accountability, and consistency. Our committee governs conflict case review and consultation processes and provides advisory support to chapters and regional leadership. As co-chairs, we serve as the committee’s representatives at regional meetings and leadership convening.
Concurrently, I serve as a certified Regional Membership Intake Trainer (2024 - present), educating chapters on membership intake policies, ethical standards, and procedural compliance. I facilitate training and provide guidance to support consistent, values-aligned intake practices across the region.
From 2016 to 2020, I served as Coordinator for the Regional Risk Management Committee, leading compliance efforts and coordinating education on youth program risk mitigation, event safety, documentation, and organizational safeguards. I conducted annual volunteer trainings that supported more than 20 collegiate and alumnae chapters and served as a trusted advisor to chapter risk management coordinators, chapter presidents and regional leadership.
